I'm leaving a one star as I'm not able to leave zero stars. I ordered a family takeaway meal, 4 fish, 8 squid, 8 prawns and 4 crab sticks with chips. What I received was all battered items over cooked, fish no thicker than 5mm but coated in heavy batter. Our family serving of chips consisted of 24 chips at best and this was meant to feed 4 people.We ordered additional curry sauce, which hubby thought tasted great. Unfortunately he had to eat it off of bread as there weren't enough chips to go around. The best part of the meal was the salt and vinegar we added at home. Definitely will not be back.

Ordered over the phone for $10 worth of chips. Was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. Arrived 10 minutes later only to wait another 20. After asking multiple times how long it would be (as we had other food going cold), we finally got our food. Went home only to discover the chips where completely under cook and borderline raw. We rang again telling them about this and saying we will be back in 10 minutes to get a new batch and for these ones to be well cooked. After getting home with the new batch, we discovered that these ones were raw as well. Unfortunately, this was not the first bad experience we had here.

Where to start. I rang and ordered 30 mins before closing time and I asked the girl on the phone are you still taking orders and she said yes. I then place my order and she tells me it will be 10-15 mins. We arrived 15 mins after. The meals was not cooked when we arrived and we waited 35 mins in total. We ordered x2 snappers and $4 worth of chips. Online says fish is $7.80 and we were charged $16 so we basically got $1 chips for 2 people. We did eat the food as my husband and I were so hungry. We couldn't taste the chicken salt, fish was so thin we basically had just batter and it was cold IRONICALLY. I would also like to add that the lady cooking the food was miserable and was complaining the whole time. First visit and will be our last.

This place has been doing a great job since changing hands, I can't believe all the negative reviews.The new addition of the Parma and chips is amazing, for $14.95 it's a great deal for those nights when you're not in the mood to cook.I have also had the fish since the change out and couldn't complain. Then chips are always on point and never disappoint.

Placed a large order on Good Friday. Fish was very small pieces and the amount of chips was pitiful. The Family Pack was supposed to have chips to feed four but was only a handful only enough to feed one!! We ordered another $3 worth added to a separate order but once again it was only a handful - disgraceful!! Previous owners were fantastic, generous sized portions, very well organized, however new owners have a lot to learn if they want to stay in business. They are understaffed, everything is dearer, portions are pitiful and patrons will go elsewhere. Shame.

Quite a nifty place and very clean. The vibe is quite positive and the staff was friendly. They have $10 snapper deal right now but it’s only one piece of the fish. It’s good value I guess and the fish was tasty. The chips however were quite mediocre.

Disgusting cold piece of grilled fish. To think you are proud to serve that to a customer?? Really!?? Come on people! I always come here but no more.. waste of $20 bucks!! May as well serve sloppy joes. I took what they sold me to their competitor… showed them and he and his wife said we will beat that! And they did exactly that. The kid (who was trying) was like 12. Asked if they did a kids meal, said he’d check - “no” was the answer. Ordered a small F&C for our 2YO. Arrived to see their kids meals very obviously on the menu. Was told “should be ready in 10 minutes” - nearly 40 minutes later… the kitchen is an OH&S nightmare with all sorts of power points laying around & haphazardly taped to the very dirty floor… also unsure how 4 pieces of fish constituted 2 normal F&C & a small? Fish was tasteless

Been eating here as a family of 10 for nearly 10 years. What a disappointment! Have they changed owners? The only way I’d eat there again is if they pay me to eat it. It was disgusting worst fish and chips I’ve ever had and they forgot half the things I ordered and then wouldn’t answer the phone for a refund Even the children wouldn’t eat it. It was all thrown in the bin.

I don't even think this place deserves 1 star. Service was appalling. I was waiting 25 minutes before they realised they had misplaced my order. Heard 2 others told they couldn't have what they ordered, after they had ordered and paid. Another customer returned because they got her order wrong. We both ended up just asking for our money back. The lady in the back blamed the guy serving and the guy serving blamed the printer not working. It was a shambles. If the owner of this place sees this review - you need to do some serious staff training or get new staff.
